Day 1 - Very first anime
Two part question for me! Because you see, my first anime was that bastardisation Robotech: The Macross Saga, which I watched on television and still remember bawling over Roy's death (spoiler warning) (Though I don't remember it taking the subtitle until after Southern Cross was released, but oh well)

Only when I watched it I didn't know what anime was. The first "real" anime I ever saw (and knew it was anime) was this gem
It was also my intro to softcore tentacle porn. I was like twelve at the time :|
