I feel in desperate need of a change. Nothing drastically life-shattering, just ... different. I want to get my hair permed again as part of it, but I also just want ... different clothes, something new, something pretty. I don't hold any beliefs that it'll make me feel overall better or solve what's bothering me, but I've been this for so long and I'm feeling very tired of it. Not who I am in general, but just ... I don't know how to explain it. It doesn't help I'm very disappointed in myself for not having lost weight yet.

So I want a change. I've been looking at dress patterns even though I can't really sew, but it's cheaper than buying a pre-made dress and I can at least pick out the fabric. We'll see if anything comes of it. I'd love to just go shopping and get a new wardrobe but that's not feasible in any sense of the word.

This week has really fucking sucked.

In other news we have a kitten. Her name is Freija.

Nah. Anytime she tries sleeping on his stomach or chest I bat her off. She's usually just in his lap.
