EXACTLY. My mind is so blown by how perfect it was and how much of my personal headcanon there was (can you say "I always take you where you need to go"? and TARDIS sisters and sfsdadvafd), that I'm not bothered at all. It could have been so terrible, but it wasn't, and just... wow.

I know there were flaws. I know there were some things that made me :| and others that contradict what my headcanon says. But at the end of the day? I got a goddamn TARDIS episode and it wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination, so I am gleeful and just so, so happy right now. I seriously needed something like this.

I KNOW I LOVED IT. And it's so funny because when I first heard this episode's title I was all IT BETTER BE ABOUT THE TARDIS because I feared another River episode and then it was about the TARDIS and I flipped my shit

I'm debating how to incorporate it at my games, too. Actually even considering a canon bump. BUT WE SHALL SEE and yes. Having actual canon just ... I finally feel like part of the group, you know?

I'd hoped, of course, but I never honestly believed they would make it about the TARDIS. That just seemed too damn good to be true, haha. So I was definitely on the "ugh, don't let it be River, ugh" side, and kind of hoped they were just trolling and he'd just get himself accidentally married again or something. So yes, so much shit flipping. I was absolutely incoherent.

And yesss. I mean, most of what I see around fandom seems to consider Doctor/TARDIS a sort of background ship, always there but never really paid attention to, with varying degrees of sapience for the TARDIS. BUT NOW WE HAVE AN ENTIRE EPISODE ALL TO OURSELVES. SO MUCH VALIDATION. And we can totally beat all the Rose and River and Master shippers with the material we have now
